Where to use this flashing
This flashing is specifically designed for VELUX roof windows with dimensions of 55×118cm. It is suitable for installation on pitched roofs with a pitch of up to 55°. The flashing should be installed on residential or commercial pitched roof applications where a VELUX window of this size is being fitted. It is not suitable for flat roofs or roofs exceeding 55° pitch.

Installation and positioning
The flashing must be positioned around the perimeter of the roof window opening before the window frame is secured. It sits between the window frame and the roof structure, with the upper edge tucked under the roof covering above the window and the lower edge overlapping the roof covering below. The flashing should be secured according to VELUX installation instructions, ensuring all edges are properly sealed and fastened. Correct positioning is essential to ensure water is directed away from the window opening and down the roof surface.
