Installation and positioning
The 134 x 140cm flashing dimensions are designed to fit standard flat rooflight openings. Installation must be carried out in conjunction with a compatible VELUX flat rooflight unit. The flashing should be positioned around the rooflight perimeter to create a complete watertight seal. Ensure the roofing material (tiles, slates, or membrane) is properly integrated with the flashing edges to prevent water bypassing the seal. Follow the rooflight manufacturer's installation instructions carefully, as correct positioning of the flashing is critical to performance.

Drainage performance and maintenance
