The plastic construction resists rot and insect damage, providing long-term durability in exposed roof conditions. Always verify that your rooflight is the VELUX EDW model before ordering, as flashings are profile-specific and will not fit other rooflight types.

Installation methods and on-site practice
The flashings can be installed using either screw fixing or adhesive application, offering flexibility depending on site conditions and preference. For adhesive application, use a suitable roofing adhesive and apply to the underside of the flashing before pressing firmly into place. Maintenance and limitations
The plastic construction requires minimal maintenance beyond routine roof inspections. These flashings are designed for flat roof use only and are not suitable for pitched or sloped roof installations.
