What this product is and who it's for

These are twin and combination flashings that seal the junction between a roof and vertical surface (such as a wall or dormer). They prevent water ingress at this vulnerable point. The flashings suit both professional roofers and experienced DIY installers working on domestic or light commercial roofing projects. The plastic construction makes them straightforward to handle and install compared to traditional metal alternatives.

Compatibility and surface suitability

The EKL CK06 S0312 flashings are compatible with both timber and concrete roof surfaces. Check that your existing roof structure matches one of these materials before ordering. The flashings integrate seamlessly with standard roofing materials, so they work well alongside conventional tiles, slates, or sheet coverings. Confirm your roof pitch and construction type with your surveyor or structural plans if you're unsure.

Size and pack contents

Each flashing measures 55 x 118cm (21.6 x 46.1 inches). This is a single unit. Measure the length of the wall-to-roof junction you need to cover and order the correct quantity. If your junction is longer than 118cm, you will need multiple flashings. Plan for overlap at joints to maintain the watertight seal.

Pre-installation checks

Before fixing, inspect the roof surface and wall junction for damage, debris, or loose material. Clean the area thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. Check that the surface is sound and level enough to accept the flashing without gaps. Ensure you have appropriate fixings (not supplied) suitable for your roof material—timber roofs typically require stainless steel screws or nails, whilst concrete may require plugs and screws. Have all tools and safety equipment ready, including roof access equipment and personal protective equipment.
