What this product is and who it is for

Twin and combination flashings are metal or composite sealing components that create a watertight barrier around roof penetrations. The EKN SK06 S0021E is intended for both professional roofers and experienced DIY installers working on pitched roofs. It is particularly useful when installing or replacing chimneys, roof vents, soil pipes or VELUX skylights where a secure seal against water ingress is essential.

Sizing and compatibility

This flashing measures 114 × 118cm (4.5 × 4.6 feet) and is designed for roofs with a maximum thickness of 45mm. Before purchase, measure your roof thickness and the dimensions of the penetration you are sealing to confirm this size is appropriate. The flashing is compatible with softwood, hardwood and metal roof coverings. If you are installing a VELUX skylight or other VELUX products, this flashing integrates seamlessly with the complete VELUX system.

Material and durability

The flashing is constructed from vinyl-coated polyester at 0.8mm thickness. This material combination provides excellent resistance to harsh weather conditions, UV exposure and temperature fluctuations. The vinyl coating protects the polyester substrate from degradation, ensuring a long service life when properly installed.
