These flashings are engineered for timber frame roof construction and integrate with VELUX roofing systems. They are ideal for pitched roofs where roof windows require secure sealing against water ingress. The combination design makes them particularly effective on complex roof layouts with multiple openings or where twin window installations are planned. They are suitable for roof pitches between 30° and 60° and can be used on roof runs up to 6 metres in length.

Installation and on-site handling
Install flashings during roof construction or window installation, ensuring they are positioned to direct water away from the window frame and into the roof covering. The 66 × 118 cm dimensions allow for proper overlap with surrounding roof materials. Secure flashings firmly to the timber frame using appropriate fixings, ensuring no gaps remain that could allow water penetration. The FSC-certified timber should be handled carefully on site to avoid damage or splitting. Check that the flashing sits flush against the roof plane and that all edges are properly sealed before covering with roof tiles or slates.

Limitations and pitch requirements
These flashings are designed specifically for roof pitches between 30° and 60°. Do not use on roofs outside this pitch range, as the flashing profile and water-shedding design are optimised for this angle. Maximum roof run length is 6 metres. On longer runs or steeper pitches outside the specified range, alternative flashing solutions should be considered. The combination design is most effective where multiple windows or complex layouts justify the integrated approach; for single window installations on simple roofs, individual flashing components may be more economical.

Maintenance and durability
The F16 timber grade and FSC-certified material provide long-term durability in exposed roof conditions.
