Installation and fitting
The flashings must be installed around the skylight aperture before the roof covering (tiles, slates or other weathering material) is fitted. The 114 x 70cm dimensions are matched to the VELUX EDW SK01 2000 Pro+ skylight frame, ensuring proper alignment with the aperture. Installation products are included with the flashings to support a complete weather-tight seal. Important limitations and considerations
These flashings are designed specifically for the VELUX EDW SK01 2000 Pro+ skylight and must not be used with other skylight models. The maximum roof pitch of 30 degrees must be observed; steeper pitches require alternative flashing solutions. The flashings are suitable only for timber-framed roofs of the specified grades. Installation on flat roofs, roofs exceeding 30 degrees pitch, or with incompatible timber grades will compromise the weather-tight seal and may lead to water ingress and structural damage.
