What this product is and who needs it

This is a flashing kit for roof window installation. You need it if you are fitting a VELUX roof window or Sun Tunnel system into a pitched roof covered with plain tiles. The flashing sits between the roof window frame and the roof tiles, directing water away and preventing leaks. It is essential for both new installations and when upgrading or replacing existing roof windows.

Compatibility and sizing

This kit is designed specifically for plain tile roofs with tile thickness up to 14mm. The CK06 size (550×1180mm) is the standard dimension for this flashing type. Check that your VELUX roof window or Sun Tunnel system is compatible with CK06 flashings before ordering. If your roof tiles exceed 14mm thickness or you have a different roof covering (such as slate or interlocking tiles), you will need a different flashing kit.

Ensure you have adequate roof access and that the roof structure is sound and able to support the installation work.
