How and where to use guide
BLACK RUBBLE SACKS (BOX 100) HEAVY DUTY
Typical applications and materials
Use these sacks for containing and transporting rubble from demolition work, broken brick and concrete, plasterboard offcuts, soil excavation, loose aggregate, sand and gravel, general construction waste, and site debris. The heavy-duty polypropylene construction withstands contact with sharp materials without puncturing, making them suitable for mixed waste streams common on active building sites.
- Demolition and renovation waste
- Excavated soil and subsoil
- Loose aggregate, sand and gravel
- Broken brick, concrete and masonry
- Plasterboard and timber offcuts
- General site waste and sweepings
On-site use and storage
Fill sacks to a manageable weight for safe handling and transport, typically 20-30 kg depending on material density. Stack filled sacks in a designated waste area away from walkways and work zones. The stackable design allows efficient storage of multiple sacks, and the black colour helps contain dust and reduces visibility of contents. Ensure sacks are sealed or tied at the top to prevent spillage during movement and to contain loose dust on windy sites.
- Fill to manageable weight for safe manual handling
- Stack in designated waste storage area
- Tie or seal tops to prevent spillage and dust escape
- Keep away from pedestrian routes and work areas
- Use for temporary storage before waste collection
Limitations and care
These sacks are designed for temporary storage and transport rather than long-term outdoor exposure. Avoid overfilling, which can stress seams and reduce stackability. Do not use for hazardous waste, asbestos-containing materials or chemical storage. Check sacks for damage before use, particularly if stored in harsh conditions. The polypropylene material can degrade under prolonged direct sunlight, so cover stacks if stored for extended periods on exposed sites.
- Not suitable for hazardous or chemical waste
- Avoid overfilling to maintain integrity and stackability
- Inspect for damage before filling
- Protect from prolonged direct sunlight if stored long-term
- Dispose of sacks responsibly after use
