Sizing and compatibility
At 2400mm x 1200mm x 12.5mm, this sheet is a standard size that fits most UK stud spacings and ceiling grids. The 12.5mm thickness is the most common specification for general partitioning and lining work. Tapered edges (TE) are designed to sit flush when sheets are butted together, creating a recessed joint line ready for tape and compound. Ensure your framing is spaced at 600mm centres for optimal support.
- Sheet dimensions: 2400mm length x 1200mm width
- Thickness: 12.5mm
- Edge type: Tapered (TE) for jointing
- Suitable for 600mm stud or joist centres

Fixing and finishing
Fix sheets to timber or metal framing using drywall screws or nails at 300mm centres. Ensure fixings are driven flush without crushing the board face. Tapered edges should be offset so that joints do not align vertically between rows. Once fixed, joints are finished using standard plasterboard tape and joint compound, or the entire surface can be skimmed with plaster for a seamless finish.
- Fix with drywall screws or nails at 300mm centres
- Offset vertical joints between rows
- Finish with tape and compound or direct skim
- Ensure fixings are flush without crushing board
