Moisture resistance and environment
This is a P5 MR (Moisture Resistant) grade board, suitable for areas with moderate moisture exposure. It is not suitable for wet rooms or areas of prolonged water contact. Ensure the subfloor is dry and level before laying, and allow boards to acclimatise to the room environment for 48 hours before installation.
- P5 MR grade for moisture-resistant performance
- Not suitable for wet rooms or high-moisture areas
- Requires dry, level subfloor preparation
- Allow 48-hour acclimatisation period
Fixing methods
Boards are typically fixed to timber joists using ring-shank nails or wood screws. Spacing between joists should not exceed 400mm for this thickness. Ensure fixings are driven flush with the board surface to avoid creating trip hazards. The tongue and groove profile allows boards to be laid tightly together, minimising movement.
- Fix to timber joists at maximum 400mm centres
- Use ring-shank nails or wood screws
- Drive fixings flush with board surface
- Stagger board joints across joists for strength
