Installation and preparation
Before installation, allow the profile to acclimatise to the site environment for 48 hours. The primed surface is ready for finishing but should be inspected for any damage during delivery. Ensure fixing surfaces are clean, dry, and level. Use appropriate fixings for your substrate—typically adhesive combined with mechanical fixings such as nails or screws. Space fixings at 300-400mm centres for stability. The primed finish can be painted directly or sanded lightly if a smoother finish is desired before final decoration.

Moisture resistance and limitations
Whilst this profile features moisture-resistant treatment, it is designed for interior use only and should not be exposed to prolonged wet conditions or external weather. Avoid direct contact with standing water or high-humidity environments such as shower enclosures. The moisture resistance provides protection against minor moisture fluctuations typical of heated interiors but does not make this product suitable for wet rooms or external applications. Ensure adequate ventilation around installed profiles to prevent moisture accumulation.

Finishing and maintenance
The primed surface provides an excellent base for paint or stain finishes. Apply undercoat and topcoat according to paint manufacturer's instructions for best results. Once installed and finished, maintain the profile by dusting regularly and wiping with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid excessive moisture exposure during cleaning. If damage occurs, sand the affected area and touch up with appropriate paint or filler. The 5.49-metre length allows for efficient planning of runs with minimal joints, reducing maintenance points.
