What this product is and who it is for

This is a primed MDF moulding with a classic torus (rounded) profile. It is designed for trade and serious DIY customers installing decorative internal mouldings in moisture-prone areas. The moisture resistant core provides better performance than standard MDF in kitchens, bathrooms, cloakrooms and utility rooms. The primed surface accepts paint directly, saving preparation time on site.

Sizing and pack contents

Each length measures 5.49 metres. The profile is 58mm deep and 18mm thick. This substantial size suits dado rail applications or feature wall treatments where visual impact is required. Order the number of lengths needed for your total linear meterage, allowing for waste and cuts at corners and joints.

Preparation and fixing

• Check the wall or substrate is clean, dry and level before fixing
• The primed surface is ready for painting; fill any joints, nail holes or damage with suitable filler before final decoration
• Fix using appropriate adhesive and/or mechanical fixings (nails or screws) suitable for MDF and your wall type
• Allow adhesive to cure fully before painting or applying final finishes
• Protect from moisture during storage and installation to maintain the moisture resistant properties

Compatibility and limitations

This product is for internal use only. Whilst moisture resistant, it is not suitable for external exposure or prolonged direct water contact. Ensure fixings and adhesives are compatible with MDF. The primed finish is compatible with standard interior paints and stains. Check wall substrate can support the weight of the profile at your intended fixing intervals.
