What you're getting
This is a single internal door leaf supplied prefinished in black. The door incorporates clear toughened glass panes set within a timber frame with clean, straight lines characteristic of contemporary industrial styling. The door is not supplied with frame, hinges, handles, or locks—these must be purchased separately according to your opening and design preferences.
- Dimensions: 1981mm height x 762mm width x 35mm thickness
- Prefinished black—no painting or staining required
- Clear toughened glass glazing fitted as standard
- FSC-certified sustainable timber construction
- Covered by Deanta's 10-year manufacturer's warranty
Sizing and fitting adjustments
The door is supplied at stated dimensions but can be trimmed if your opening requires a slightly smaller fit. Up to 6mm total can be taken off both the width and height, allowing minor on-site adjustments to suit your specific doorway. Any trimming should be carried out before hanging and finishing. Ensure your frame opening is square and plumb before installation.
- Maximum reduction: 6mm from width and 6mm from height
- Trim before hanging to avoid damage to glass panes
- Check frame opening is square and plumb
Compatibility and installation requirements
This door is designed for internal use and requires a standard timber or metal frame with appropriate hinges and hardware. You will need to source and fit three hinges (typically 100mm butt hinges for a door of this size and weight), a handle set, and any locking mechanism separately. Ensure your frame is correctly sized to accept a 35mm thick door leaf. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with door hanging.
- Internal door use only
- Requires separate frame, hinges, handle, and locks
- Compatible with standard 100mm butt hinges
- 35mm thickness suits most modern internal frames
Pre-installation checks
Before hanging, inspect the door for any transit damage, particularly to the glass panes and black finish. Verify that your frame opening matches the door dimensions (accounting for any planned trimming) and that the frame is square and level. Check that all necessary hardware is to hand before beginning installation. The prefinished black surface should not require additional preparation, but handle carefully to avoid marking.
- Inspect glass panes and black finish for damage
- Confirm frame opening dimensions and squareness
- Gather all hinges, handles, and hardware before starting
- Handle carefully to protect the prefinished surface
