Preparation and fixing
Coping stones must be laid on a level, sound base. The top of the wall should be clean and free from loose mortar, algae, or debris. Ensure the weathered edge slopes correctly to direct water away from the wall face. Stones should be tapped gently into position and checked for level in both directions.
