Hardwood Plywood 2440 x 1220 x 22mm B/BB Face Class 2 also known as WBP

Description

Hardwood plywood with B/BB face grade delivers a solid veneer surface suitable for visible applications where minor surface defects are acceptable. The 22mm thickness provides structural rigidity for shelving, cabinetry, and partition work, whilst the 2440 × 1220mm sheet size aligns with standard UK building dimensions for efficient cutting and layout. Class 2 moisture resistance and WBP adhesive bonding protect against humidity fluctuations in kitchens, bathrooms, and covered outdoor structures, though the sheet is not rated for prolonged external weather exposure.

The B/BB grading means the face veneer is sound and largely defect-free, with the reverse side (BB grade) permitting slightly more visible marks. This makes the sheet economical for projects where one face is visible and the reverse is concealed or less critical. Builders and DIY users value this grade for interior joinery, fitted furniture, and structural panels where appearance matters but premium veneer quality is not essential. The WBP adhesive system ensures long-term stability in damp environments without delamination.
