Compatibility and installation
This board is engineered for use with timber or metal stud partitions, dry lining systems and suspended ceilings. As a Type DI board to EN 520, it meets British and European standards for gypsum plasterboards. Installation follows standard plasterboard fixing methods using drywall screws or nails into studs at appropriate centres. The acoustic benefits are optimised when combined with resilient fixings, cavity insulation and proper sealing of joints and penetrations.

Pre-installation checks
Before fixing, ensure your stud framework is square, level and properly spaced to support the board weight and provide adequate fixing points. Inspect boards for damage in transit and allow them to acclimatise to site conditions for 48 hours before installation. Confirm that joint compound, tape and finishing materials are compatible with acoustic plasterboard specifications.
