Compatibility and sizing
These handles are designed for standard internal and external doorsets fitted with rose plate mounting systems. The T bar configuration is compatible with standard latch and lock mechanisms commonly used in UK residential and commercial buildings. Before ordering, confirm that your doors are fitted with rose plates and that the existing latch or lock mechanism will accept a T bar handle connection.

- Verify compatibility with your existing latch or lock mechanism
- Suitable for both internal and external doors
- Compatible with standard UK door hardware
Pre-installation checks
Inspect the handles and rose plates upon delivery for any damage or defects. Ensure your door is properly hung and the latch or lock mechanism is functioning correctly before fitting. Check that the door thickness is suitable for your existing hardware and that the rose plate will sit flush against the door surface. Have the correct fixing screws available – these are typically supplied with the latch or lock mechanism rather than the handles themselves.
- Check handles and rose plates for damage on arrival
- Verify door is properly hung and latch operates smoothly
- Ensure rose plate will sit flush against the door
- Confirm you have appropriate fixing screws for your mechanism
Fixing and installation
Installation involves removing the existing handles if replacing them, then fitting the new rose plates and lever handles using the T bar connection to your latch or lock mechanism. The knurled lever design provides improved grip during installation and use. Ensure handles are aligned correctly on both sides of the door and that all fixings are tightened securely. The satin brass finish requires only routine cleaning with a soft cloth to maintain its appearance.
