Typical applications and materials

Driving and installation

Countersinking and finishing
The double countersunk head is designed to sit flush with the surface when driven to the correct depth. For visible work, ensure the screw is driven until the head is level with or slightly below the surface. On hardwoods, you may wish to pre-drill to prevent splitting, particularly near edges. The flush-fitting head allows for subsequent filling, sanding or finishing without proud fasteners interfering with the final appearance.

Storage and on-site handling
The screws are supplied in a 1000-count tub, which provides convenient storage and easy dispensing on site. Keep the tub sealed when not in use to prevent moisture ingress and corrosion.
