Installation and application
This flashing is installed around the perimeter of a rooflight opening to prevent water ingress where the rooflight meets the roof structure. On-site handling and maintenance
Store the flashing flat and protected from direct sunlight before installation to prevent unnecessary UV exposure. Handle carefully to avoid creasing or tearing the rubber. Once installed, the flashing requires minimal maintenance; periodic inspection during roof maintenance checks will confirm the seal remains intact. If debris accumulates around the flashing, gently clear it to prevent water pooling. The EPDM rubber does not require painting or coating. In the event of damage, the affected section should be replaced rather than repaired to maintain a reliable watertight seal.
