Premdor 5 Panel Smooth FD30 Firesheild 762mm x 1981mm x44mm

Description

The Premdor 5 Panel Smooth FD30 Fireshield door is a fire-safety solution designed for internal use where building regulations demand fire compartmentation or protected escape routes. The door features a traditional 5-panel design with a smooth finish that suits contemporary and period interiors alike. Its solid construction and FD30 rating ensure it will maintain structural integrity and restrict the passage of flames and smoke for 30 minutes under test conditions, meeting the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document B.

This door is supplied as a single leaf, ready to hang into a standard UK door frame. The 762mm width accommodates most domestic and commercial doorway openings, whilst the 1981mm height aligns with standard ceiling heights. At 44mm thick, the door provides good acoustic insulation alongside its fire performance. Installation requires standard hanging hardware and a fire-rated frame; ensure all components are certified to the same fire standard for full compliance.
