Description

EARTHWOOL GLASS MINERAL WOOL DRITHERM CAVITY SLAB 32 ULTIMATE is a rigid cavity wall insulation slab manufactured from recycled glass mineral wool. Each pack supplies four slabs at 1200 × 455 × 150mm (18" × 6"), providing 2.184m² of wall coverage. The product is engineered to fit standard cavity widths and is held in place by cavity ties without requiring additional mechanical fixings, reducing installation time and labour on site.

The slabs deliver consistent thermal resistance and acoustic absorption properties, supporting compliance with current Building Regulations for new build and renovation work. The material is non-combustible and maintains its performance characteristics over the building's lifetime. Installation is straightforward: slabs are simply positioned between the inner and outer leaf of the cavity, with cavity ties providing adequate support. The product is suitable for use in conjunction with standard masonry construction techniques and is compatible with both brick and block outer leaves.
